It’s a magical night at the Bilbao BBK Live, bursting at the seams. Kobetamendi is shining brighter than ever with some of the biggest stars of the moment. Rosalía is reaffirming her place in the Spanish and international scene before a receptive audience hailing from over 100 countries. This diverse public is also here to enjoy The Strokes’ only performance in Spain, a retrospective of the best tunes from their five albums proving that they are one of the best bands of the 20th century. The venerable Laurent Garnier, godfather of electronica, will see out the night at Basoa, putting the cherry on top of the Friday leg of the festival. Tomorrow the festival perseveres with the much anticipated shows of Weezer; The Good, the Bad, & the Queen; and a total of 30 other artists.
The shuttle bus service has worked to perfection thus far. The organization has supplemented the fleet in order to handle peak hours.
The festival’s efforts to keep the premises green and clean have been met with festivalgoer’s cooperation, thanks to a good awareness campaign regarding proper respect for the space by making use of the measures adopted to drive down environmental impact, such as separate recycling bins for different types of waste and reusable cups.
