Kings of Leon will perform one show next summer 2013 in Spain: Bilbao BBK Live. The festival proudly announces that Kings of Leon will join previously confirmed Green Day and Depeche Mode as headliners of the eight edition of the event, scheduled to take place from 11th to 13th July in Kobetamendi, Bilbao.

With their fourth album ‘Only by the Night’ (2008) the Followill achieved the platinum status in twelve countries, and in addition to winning 3 Grammy awards, Kings of Leon headlined the world biggest Festivals including Glastonbury (2008), Coachella (2011), Roskilde (2011) and many more …

In 2010 they had released ‘Come Around Sundown’ which showed an extraordinary creative momentum, writing songs that immediately connect with the audience…

The band recently confirmed that they are working on a new album to be released in 2013.

Editors released their third album, ‘In This Light And On This Evening’ on 12th October 2009. The album represents a significant step forward for the band following the huge successes of debut album ‘The Back Room’ and the Number One follow up ‘An End Has A Start’. It was also the start of a new chapter for Editors as the band recorded with Flood (well-known by his work with Depeche Mode, U2 or Nine Inch Nails).

Early this year guitar player Chris Urbanowicz announced his friendly departure from the band. “In ten years we’ve gone from playing tiny clubs in Birmingham to having number one records in several countries, selling out massive shows across the globe and headlining festivals as four friends together”.  Editors are currently working on their fourth album due in 2013.

After 2012’s record-breaking attendance with performances by Radiohead and The Cure and the launch of the popular third stage, Bilbao BBK Live keeps growing and attracting the biggest names in music today. Previous editions of the event have included headliners such as Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Depeche Mode, Jane’s Addiction, RHCP and Suede.

Three Day Early Bird tickets to Bilbao BBK Live, including camping, are now on sale until the 11th of December, for just £70 on See Tickets and Ticketweb.

More acts will be announced very soon, so stay tuned to our website, Twitter and Facebook page.
