Just one day before the start of the seventh edition of the Bilbao BBK Live festival (The Cure, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party, James Murphy, etc…), Bob Dylan and his band will be performing on the esplanade of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the museum. The North American artist will be performing for 5,000 people in a setting as special as his music.
Dylan, a living legend of contemporary music, is one of the most admired, performed and influential artists of the last 50 years. All time classics such as ‘Like A Rolling Stone’, ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’, ‘Blowin’ In The Wind’ and ‘Hurricane’, have inspired and accompanied generations of musicians and fans. Dylan’s music has been awarded with various Grammys, Golden Globes and an Oscar.
His name is in the rock’n’roll of hall of fame as well as on the Composer’s hall of fame. He has been knighted in France and he’s also been awarded with the Principe de Asturias in Spain. Dylan has also often been nominated for the Literature Nobel Prize.

Dylan, however, doesn’t pay much attention to all this recognition. At the age of 70, he hasn’t lost even a bit of the energy that made him famous 50 years ago as his never ending tours and over 30 studio albums to date proof. On Wednesday the 11th July, Dylan and his band will be back in the Basque Country.
Tickets to the concert will be on sale on Wednesday the 16th May at 45€ + booking fee for standing tickets and 85€ + booking fee for the 500 seated tickets. Dylan’s performance will be one of many concerts scheduled for the week of the Bilbao BBK Live festival in several locations of the capital from the 9th-14th July. We will keep you updated.
