After initiating his career in Pussy Galore back in the 80’s, Jon Spencer created the Blues Explosions at the beginning of the 90’s, mixing musical styles such as blues, rockabilly and primitive rhythm and soul, with contemporary sounds such as hardcore or punk. From then on, the band reconstructed rock’n’roll, their love for transgression grew with each release and their image and attitude won them a loyal following. Their rhythmic and elegant songs shine on stage, without a doubt performing live is Jon Spencer Blues Explosion’s strength.
