After their critically acclaimed debut album “Un día en el mundo”, the band’s second effort “Mapas” has established Vetusta Morla as one of the most successful independent Spanish pop-rock bands in recent years. “Mapas” finds the band in search for new creative mechanisms, new textures and instrumentations. Vetusta Morla masters the creation of moments of collective communication in the studio and translates those moments amazingly well to the stage and this is what ultimately constitutes the core of their music. Valuing again emotions and energy over technical perfection, the band continues to flag their independence beyond stylistic stereotypes.
