
Bilbao BBK Live festival is proud to announce that Sum 41, Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reed, The Big Pink and Belako will be performing in the seventh edition of the festival due to take place from the 12th-14th July in Kobetamendi (Bilbao). These four bands are the new additions to a line-up that already counts with bands of the size of The Cure, Radiohead, Garbage, Keane, Snow Patrol, The Kooks, Bloc Party to name just few.
The melodic punk-rock band SUM 41 started their musical career in Ontario, Canada in the mid nineties and has released a total of five studio and two live albums to date. Their latest studio album ‘Screaming Bloody Murder’ was released last year and the latest single from the album is ‘Blood In My Eyes’.
Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reed is one of the best soulmans at present; born in Boston in 1983 he’s published three albums to date and his music has became a breath of fresh
air in the world of soul and rhythm & blues. Paperboy always plays with the best musicians; we’ll enjoy his spectacular live show in Bilbao BBK Live.
The Big Pink are an electronic rock duo formed by the multi-instrumentalist Robbie Furze and Milo Cordell, owner of Merol Records, who released Klaxons’ and Crystal Castles’ first tracks. The Big Pink started their career in 2007 and have published two studio albums to date. The latest “Future This” was released at the beginning of
2012.
Finally, hailing from Mungia (Bizcay) Belako will perform at the Bilbao BBK Live festival as winners of the EiTB Gaztea’s new music competition. These guys have a
bright future ahead of them.
