The fifth Bilbao BBK Live edition billboard is beginning to take shape. Faith No More, Alice In Chains, Paul Weller and Skunk Anansie are the most distinguished bands of a list of 7 new incorporations to the Festival. Gogol Bordello, Dropkick Murphys and Volbeat complete the list of novelties.

Fait No More is one of the 80´s and 90´s greatest bands. Since Mike Patton’s entry to the band as vocalist in 1989, Faith No More combined Metal and Trash with Hip-hop, Funk, Jazz, Soul or Hardcore-Punk becoming one of the most innovating bands of rock history. The band split up in 1998 but came back to the road last years for their unconditional fans´ delight.

The US band Alice In Chains was one of the most distinguished bands of the 90´s grunge explosion. After some years of inactivity due to the disappearance of their original singer Layne Stanley in 2002, in 2006 Alice In Chains came back to the stages with William Du Vall as the front-man. In September last year they presented ‘Black Gives Way to Blue’, their first studio album in 14 years.

Paul Weller was the founder of British bands The Jam and The Style Council. In 1990 he started his brilliant solo career. Weller is considered as the father of the Mod movement of all times although in his solo period he has opened to other styles like Folk or Country.

Skunk Anansie comes also from the UK. This quartet formed in 1994 was dissolved in 2001 and joined back last year. In the 90´s they edited three studio albums that made them one of the best-selling bands of their country. They were back to the stages in 2009 and some months ago they edited new material. The new album is called ‘Smashes And Trashes’.

The list of incorporations is completed with Neoyorkers Gogol Bordello (Gipsy Punk), the band from Massachusetts with Irish roots Dropkick Murphys (Celtic-Punk) and Danish Volbeat (Metal, Rockabilly and Rock and Roll fusion).
