PLACEBO Placebo was formed at the end of the 90´s by Brian Molko (guitar and voice), Stefan Olsdal (bassist and chorus) and Steve Hewitt (drums) - an American-English, a Swedish and an English. Three different nationalities, three different personalities but one way of understanding music, life. In 1996, after a tour with an astonished David Bowie, Placebo recorded in the studio their first album: “Placebo”, where the talent and originality of the band could be discerned. They confirmed this two years later with “Without You I'm Nothing”, a classical-like album that revolutionized the scene thanks to singles like “Pure Morning” or “Every You Every Me”. Now they are a referent and with a new drummer, Brian Molko and his friends come with a new work: “Battle for the Sun”.
