FISCHERSPOONER Fischerspooner is the name of the music electroclash duet formed in 1998 in New York. The name comes directly from the last names of its founders Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner. Combining extreme electropop tendencies (Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode in their beginning, Gary Numan, among others) with a contemporary approach to programming, Fischerspooner produces a music style with robotic and bizarre features. Their albums can be considered as the sound track for their performances on stage instead of simple recordings to be played alive. They will come to Bilbao to present “Entertainment” (2009) with their spectacular live sound.
