IT HUGS BACK

Friends from the school since they were twelve, this young quartet from Kent formed in 2006 has released “Inside Your Guitar” last April through the 4AD Records label. This is their first LP after their success in the British scene with several singles. Their sound is a mix of indie-pop influences from the early 90’s and the American indie style “Do it Yourself” from the 80´s. Close to Sonic Youth or Kaiser Chiefs´ textures and to the The Lemonheads pop allure, “Inside Your Guitar” is the result of years of work and dedication – a free-and-easy punk-rock with fuzzy guitars and  melancholic voices. Tunes like "Cars" and "Carefully" are not so usual in such a young band.
