BASEMENT JAXX

Basement Jaxx is a British duet of house music formed by Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe that became popular at the end of the 90´s. The duet started in 1994 in Brixton, South of London. In 1999 Basement Jaxx launched its first album, Remedy, which includes hits such as "Red Alert" or "Rendez Vu". The electronic duet responsible of making narrower the distance between pod and dance music, is now enjoying a moment of feverish activity as they are about to release their fifth album entitled 'Scars'. Classical authors, soluble and ephemeral as 'Romeo' or ‘Oh my Gosh’, Basement Jaxx have been almost three years without releasing new material and they now come back to offer us another work full of style mixtures always with the same purpose: the party.
