AMA SAY

After 12 years of silence Ama Say returns to the stages. One of the most interesting rock bands in the Basque Country is back giving a series of special and selected concerts. "Anybody paying attention to them, will discover a quartet that has produced a dense, open, complex and slippery work”. (Nando Cruz. Rock De Lux. January 1996). “They open a new frequency in the Basque and English scene with density and alternatives. Ama Say slips the coverage by mixing both Basque and English languages in a confident and eloquent way, both metaphoric and intelligent. This is the key that makes the quartet one of the surprises and  originalities of the surroundings - that synthesis of languages through an unusual threat: that of the rock'n'roll". (Jon Landau. Deia. April 1993).

 ASIAN DUB FUNDATION

Asian Dub Foundation is a Londoner band that has been ten years already rejecting the limits of the artistic expression and offering a series of albums and explosive concerts. Punk, dub, reggae, ragga, pop... Asian Dub Foundation’s music is atmospheric and direct, complex and moving, catchy and rational. It connects communities, it breaks clichés and it offers solutions while others subscribe to a weak consensus. They have released important studio albums like “Facts And Fictions” (1996), “R.A.F.I.” (1997), “Community Music” (2000) or, their more recent Punkara (2008). One of the world’s best bands to see in concert.

 BABYSHAMBLES

No band  has gathered so many different opinions lately as the Babyshambles. With their second album Shotter’s Nation, both fans and skeptical  audience praise the British band formed by Peter Doherty, Mick Whitnell, Drew McConnell andy Adam Ficek. From the rhythmic style from The Doors in the 60´s to the splendor with jazzy drums, Babyshambles has shaken the dust after so many troubles in order to get the best sound Pete Doherty has mad until now. The band shows very different influences – from The Kinks to the punk, going through the Stone Roses, a Soul 2 Soul touch, the indie of the 80´s, Madness, Blondie, the Tamla Motown and the Brit pop.
