BADDIES Baddies is an indie rock band from Essex, England. This young group released its first single “Battleships” at the end of 2008 which was very welcome in all the Great Britain scenes. Its music has been described as a junction of Klaxons, The Horrors and Queens of the Stone Age although they define themselves as a post-punk band. The band is considered by the English press as one of the most promising ones thanks to its live sound, its melodies and self-confidence. Baddies will be performing this summer together with bands like Blur, Bruce Springsteen, Bloc Party, Neil Young or Franz Ferdinand in Festivals like Glastonbury, Pukkelpop or Reading. Their fist LP is entitled “Do the Job” and it will see the light after the summer. One of the Bilbao BBK Live 2009 surprises.
